RackWatch Smart Sensor Overview
RackWatch is a system of smart racking sensors designed to detect, measure and report impacts, movement and deviation on warehouse racking systems.

What does RackWatch monitor?
Low Impact
Detects low force impacts and nudges that can still cause rack movement.
High Impact
Detects high force impacts that can bend or twist uprights and beams.
Movement Time
Measures the time racking takes to settle post impact, to identify potential weight shift on pallets.
Deviation Changes
Detects changes in deviation on uprights and beams, indicating structural integrity risk.
What does this data look like?
Rack Health
Monitor the health of a complete rack length to be able to identify hotspots for impacts.
Upright Health
Monitoring uprights for impacts and rack movement that could cause weight shift on pallets.
Shift Analysis
Impact analysis across different shifts, to determine when most impacts are occurring.
Real-time Visualisation
Impacts shown on warehouse floors plans in near real-time, indicating impact location and severity.
How will we know when an incident happens?
Email Notifications
Incident alert notifications can be sent by email to operations management team.
SMS Notifications
For immediate attention, incident alert notifications can be sent to the PRRS by SMS.
As mobile signals are bad in warehouses, we are working on WhatsApp integration.
Incident Log
Incident logs are triggered by severity level, so that the PRRS can action & close the log.
